Mt. Princeton, 14,204 ft

We didn't quite get to the summit because of weather, but had a great hike anyway.

July is gone?!

I know I keep saying this, but the days and weeks just fly by! We have had a lot of fun this summer so I thought it was time to post some pictures. Reese's school has a family picnic every July. Vern the train man is a tradition, and this year, Reese actually enjoined it. (lots of tears last year)

Little red caboose

We have a family pass to the zoo this year. The elephants are her favorite :)

The zoo train is a hit as well.

Friday night

Not only have I been bad about blogging, but also bad about taking pictures. Here are some from last night after a rain shower.

Long over due post

The past 2 months have been a blur! Reese had a fun filled birthday week when Stephanie came in town. She had so much fun at Chuck E Cheese, the Butterfly Pavilion, Jump Street, and the Wildlife Experience.

Steph and Reese

Daddy and Reese using her new Tag Jr - she can touch the book with the "worm" and it reads the book to her.

Happy 3rd Birthday Reese!

Top present - cardboard store that she has been decorating since her party. Pizza party anyone?

Fishies.

Reese loved Steph's purple bubbles.

Easter egg hunt at Aunt Casey's. Could Samson be hiding some in here?

Found one!

I found my childhood toy box and wanted to hand it down to Reese. After sanding and repainting it, Reese had her way with the back of it. It turned out beautiful!

Summer, here we come!

Bora Bora/Tahiti

We are so excited to share our pictures from the Great West Sales Conference in Bora Bora! After much hard work and traveling, Ed qualified after having his best year yet. We joked that if the place had crashed, this must be heaven. After 24 hours to get there, we were ready to relax! Although Ed had to work some, we had plenty of time to explore and be pampered. It was the most beautiful place on earth. We stayed in little huts off the main island.

A lonely island off the beach by the resort.

Posing before dinner one night.

The jet ski tour around the islands was so much fun. Not other soul around.

We snorkeled in the lagoon with the resort's marine biologist and saw amazing sea life.

We stayed in Tahiti for one night before leaving French Polynesia. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, but we enjoyed checking out the culture. Here's the view from our lunch spot.

Yes, the food was amazing!

After being gone for a week and spending 2 days either in an airplane or an airport, we felt like we needed a vacation from our vacation! Thanks to our family for letting us get away.
