End of summer

Unfortunately, this is the face that we have seen in recent days. Reese has been having temper tantrums when she doesn't get her way.


Grandma visited for a couple of days before her big move to Seattle.


I took Reese to Gymboree for the first time. She had a blast and was able to keep up with the older kids.

Exploding language and hair!!

Reese is growing so quickly! At her 15 month appointment, she is now in the 95%ile for height, but down to 50%ile for weight. We know why - she never stops! She can now point to her eyes, nose, teeth, and hair.


She loves to splash in her kiddy pool. It was a little too cool today to get in.


Stretch!


She refuses to let us put rubber bands or clips in her hair. If she can feel it, it's coming out. Since I don't want to deal with bangs, we're dealing with the hair in eyes. It doesn't seem to bother her!


Here is Reese and Bailey playing. Ed and I need to invest in a good pair of ear plugs.

15 months

Our little girl is busy as ever! She is trying to learn to run, but doesn't have enough coordination and runs into things. Quite amusing! She also loves this stool that I pulled out. She always wants to be sitting in it.

Fun in the sprinklers

It was a balmy 80 degrees today, so we decided to play in the sprinklers. At first she cried, but she she had fun!!

Happy Father's Day!

After a delicious lunch at Smash Burger, we enjoyed a picnic at the park. What a beautiful day!

Reese had a diaper rash, so we let her walk around naked to air out. No accidents, luckily! She's now walking more than crawling, and navigating the back yard pretty well.

A great summer evening

We enjoyed a nice evening in the back yard tonight. Reese is quite the explorer now. As you will see, EVERYTHING goes in her mouth!
