September daze

September is almost over? Are you kidding? Ed has traveled quite a bit this month, so life is busy! Luckily, he was able to make it home a few nights in between trips. Reese is almost pedaling her trike.

...with just a tad of help from Daddy.

It's impossible to get a good picture of her right now. She doesn't stay still. This is as good as it gets.

...and then she's gone.

Cherry Creek State Park

The MOMs club that I belong to had a play date at the Cherry Creek State Park beach. Reese loved playing in the water and watching the boats go by. As we were leaving, she kept saying "Bye bye water, bye bye water!"

Botanic Gardens

Reese and I spent this morning at the Denver Botanic Gardens. They just opened a children's garden on top of a new parking garage.

Checking out an eagle's nest.

Playing the "mountain run-off" stream.

Smelling some flowers.

Playing in the lily pond.

Can't believe summer is almost over!

Steamboat Springs

Ed and I were able to get away to Steamboat Springs for a long weekend. We hiked on Saturday and Sunday and floated down the Yampa River or soaked in the hottub. It was so nice to recharge the batteries!

Time seems to fly by!

I just realized that It's been over month since I posted. I was getting so good about it! I do take a lot of pictures, but it can be difficult to get her to stand/sit still long enough to get the camera and take a pic! She now goes to "school" 4 days a week, and is loving her new classroom that's filled with boys! (One of Reese's previous teachers said that she mostly played with boys because the girls couldn't keep up with her). D'ann has her hands full.

Oh, the tears. They are abundant and frequent. I couldn't resist this pic :)

Reese LOVES chasing bubbles.

OK, so we are potty training, and Reese is really getting the hang of it. After going on the potty, she went outside because Bailey was barking and became fascinated with the wind chime. She did manage to keep her socks on!

Praying she doesn't step in any dog s**t...

Daddy's home from work!

We can't get over how beautiful she is. This is her "seven-mile" stare before bed time.
