Ok, so she had a little help from the bar stool. She took about 6 steps before we could get the camera out. By then, it was old news...

Ski getaway

Ed and I were able to leave Reese with Aunt Kathy and get to Breckenridge to ski. It was so nice to get away for the night!

So far, it has been a quiet February - except for Reese's screams. She loves to hear herself screech. This "mute button" seems to work for a little while.

Her hair is also getting long. I'm hoping the little curls around her ears will stay.

9 months!

Happy 9 months!

We just had our 9th month appointment, and Reese continues to tip the scales!

Weight: 21.05 lbs, 80 percentile
Height: 28 3/4 in, 85 percentile

Would you believe that our pediatrician suggested that we use 2% instead of whole when it's time for milk! We will start mixing her bottles half formula, half milk when she is 11 months.

Reese has tooth #8 on the way. She loves the table food that we have been introducing her to. So much in fact, she has been turning away baby food. She is now cruising on the furniture, which has led to a few more bumps than usual. We think she will be walking soon. GULP!

She is very busy these days. Turn your head, and she's into something. And usually, it's not the baby toys, either.

I still love the "butt up in the air" position at night. She looks so sweet when she's sleeping!

Long Overdue December Pictures!

Between camera and computer problems, I have fallen behind on my postings. I will try to keep up! Reese is growing and changing daily. She shows us new faces, is babbling, and starting to furniture walk.

We had a great Christmas. Mom and Tim came to visit the weekend before, and Casey and John spent Christmas day with us.

She loves her new bath tub that Santa gave her!


This year, the bags and bows were much more exciting than the gifts themselves!


She crawls so fast! You turn your back and she's gone - always on a mission!

She has 7 teeth with one more on the way.
